Cat and Dog Boarding Facility

We offer indoor climate-controlled boarding for both cats and dogs at Swift Creek Animal Hospital. Larger dogs stay in concrete runs while smaller dogs are housed in stainless steel cages. Dogs are leash-walked three times daily in our fenced-in yard. Cats stay upstairs away from the dogs in our cat room.

For every pet staying with us, we provide:

• Bedding
• Bowls
• Food
• Daily enrichment

If you pet has special dietary needs or medications, please bring those with you.

Vaccine Requirements

To ensure the safety of our boarders and hospitalized patients, it is our policy that all dogs must be current on the following vaccines:

• Rabies
• Distemper
• Parvo
• Bordetella
• Canine influenza (required as of December 2023)

For cats, our policy requires that they are current on the following vaccines:

• Rabies
• Distemper

Every pet must have also had their annual fecal exam to ensure they are not bringing any parasites into the boarding area. We strongly prefer that these vaccines are updated several days prior to their stay. All vaccine history must be emailed or faxed prior to the schedule drop-off date.
