Dr. Randy Nehlig
Dr. Randy Nehlig grew up in New Orleans, La. His undergrad studies were completed at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from LSU-SVM in the spring of 2006 and began his career as a small animal veterinarian in Wake Forest, NC. In the spring of 2007, Dr. Nehlig accepted a full-time position here at Lake Pine Animal Hospital in Apex, NC; becoming our newest associate.
Dr. Nehlig's interests lie primarily with small animal medicine and surgery, with some exotic animal care. When not in the office, he enjoys canoeing, hiking, and spending time with his wife Lina, and his three beagles: Champa, Herbie, and Hootin' Annie. His other pets include a rabbit named Loopy, two tortoises and a leopard gecko named Yausi.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.
